Your baggage allowance depends on the airline and the fare you booked. We show it in two places:
When you select a flight in search — the inclusions are listed with the fare.
In your booking confirmation email — sent once you've purchased.
Not sure what your booking includes? Send us your booking reference and we'll tell you exactly what's on your ticket — checked allowance, carry-on, and per-passenger breakdown.
Adding baggage before completing your payment plan
Message us with your booking reference and how many bags you need. You can do this at any time, before or after your payment plan is complete — we add the baggage to your ticket with the airline.
Costs: airline baggage charges are passed on at cost, with no PayLater Travel fees. They must be paid upfront and can't be added to your existing payment plan.
If you've completed your payment plan and have your e-ticket, you can manage the baggage add on directly with the airline.
If you don't add baggage in advance
You can usually add bags during online check-in (typically 24–48 hours before departure), or pay at the airline's check-in desk. Bear in mind the airport rate is normally the most expensive option. Some fares — Basic Economy in particular — don't allow baggage to be added in advance at all. Ask us and we'll tell you what applies to yours.
FAQs
How do I add bags for some passengers but not others?
Just tell us which passengers need bags and how many each. We'll add them individually.
Can baggage costs go on my PayLater payment plan?
No — additional baggage is paid upfront. But you pay it to us and we add the bags to your booking; you don't need to arrange it with the airline separately.
Is carry-on included?
Nearly always, but the weight and size limits vary by airline and fare. Send us your booking reference and we'll confirm both your carry-on and checked allowance.
