In this article, we will outline the process of how to find and book PayLater flights!

🛫 PayLater Travel allows you to purchase a flight by paying only a small deposit. The remaining amount is paid off using a payment plan. This protects you from price hikes whilst also helping you budget!

1. Search flights and select the one you’d like to book

Once you land on the home page select your origin, destination, dates, and the number of people flying. You’ll be presented with real-time prices from hundreds of popular airlines like Qantas, Singapore Airlines, American Airlines plus many more. Our search results will detail:

  • Total price along with the minimum deposit amount and estimated repayments

  • The route of the flight

  • The inclusions of your flight specifically around if your flight is refundable, flight flexibility, and luggage inclusions

Once you find the flight you want select it and you will proceed to the passenger detail section.

1. Searching on the home page

2. Search results for flight search

3. Selecting the flight will provide you with a breakdown of inclusions along with the details of the flight route

2. Enter your passenger and contact details

Our form will then direct you to enter the full names, date of birth, and passport origin of passengers. These passenger details are required to book the flight on your behalf. This is the information used for your booking and your flight tickets, so please ensure these match your passport details. For domestic bookings, we don’t need passport information.

Please ensure your passenger details are correct as we may not be able to make any changes after the booking has been processed. Any changes will be subject to airline rules and policies and will face charges. Please see our relevant article here to help you: Can I update passenger details?

3. Set up your payment plan and secure your price with a deposit

Once you have entered the passenger details it's time to purchase your flight! This is where the real benefit of Pay Later Travel kicks in. At checkout, you are able to secure your flight for a fraction of the price with a deposit (which can be as low as 10% for some flights), the remaining amount will be paid off in installments. At checkout, you will set up your payment plan (see image below). You can create a payment plan that fits your lifestyle and budget all with no interest, credit checks, or fees. You can see more information on setting up your payment plan here.

Once you click ‘book now’ you’ll be directed to log in to the portal where you can manage your booking and payments. We will also send you a booking received email.

How the payment plan form looks. You select the deposit % you want to pay right now to secure the flight along with the frequency of repayments.

4. Making Your Repayments

Before each installment is processed, we’ll send you a reminder. On the day the payment is due your payment will be processed automatically to the card associated with your booking. You’ll get a receipt for every successful payment that is made. You’ll also be able to log in to the customer portal to manage your booking and payments. You can make early repayments (and we love it when you do!), check out more information on early repayments here. If you want to better understand how we deal with missed payments check out here.

5. Receive your E-tickets and travel documentation

Once your final installment is successfully processed, we’ll send across your e-tickets. If you want to receive your e-ticket earlier you can do so by paying off your payments earlier than they are due. Now that you have your e-ticket you’ll be able to login to the airline portal and manage your booking directly with the airline. Have a safe flight!!
